the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia.

Lessons are private and tailored to the individual student.
Online lessons are available for intermediate to advanced students.
AV4S students enjoy the musical experience of learning how to play their stringed instrument.
The classical genre is utilized to learn the basics, but other types of music, including church songs, folk songs, and fiddling can also be incorporated.
Music theory is taught during lessons, encouraging all students to learn not only how to play, but to be able to eventually read their instrument's music as well.
Performance opportunities are provided and all students are encouraged, regardless of experience, to participate in them.
